Hope

The band was founded in 2006 and from the very beginning has been associated with the city of Poznań. So far, the group has released 3 studio albums and played many concerts in Poland and abroad. Hope represents rapcore and nu metal genres, and its performances are characterized by energetic music and very good contact with the audience.

Our cooperation with Hope began in 2018 with a trip to a festival in Ukraine and in 2020 we started working on the band-manager basis.

Hope was formed in 2006 and initially it was a band of four. Over the years, the line-up was changing and currently the group consists of six members.

The story says that the name of the band was proposed by one of its founders, guitarist Adi. Apparently, he didn’t know English very much at that time, except for three words: love, beer and hope. Due to the positive message, the word “hope” was chosen as the band’s name.

From the very beginning, the group creates music from rapcore and nu metal genres. In quite many songs, one can find a lot of inspiration by bands such as Korn or Limp Bizkit. Hope’s music is very energetic, with positive message, reaching a fairly wide audience.

In 2009 the debut album “Join the gang” was released. Apart from Poland it was also available in Japan. The band gained some recognition and this gradually brought more performances at music events in Poland and abroad. Five years later another album – “Da best of” – came to the market. This CD contains 13 songs from rapcore and nu metal genres. The mastering was done by Stephen Marcussen, known for his cooperation with many world-class artists, such as The Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Korn, Shania Twain, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and many, many more. The band’s latest release is the album “Name it” from the beginning of 2019.

Hope has performed at many club gigs, smaller open-air events and large festivals. Undoubtedly, the group’s success is its three-time performance at the largest in Poland and one of the largest European festivals, the Pol’and’Rock Festival (previously Przystanek Woodstock). The group also played outside Poland, for example in Russia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland and Ukraine.

The band has had the opportunity to appear on the air of major Polish television stations (TVP2, Polsat) several times. It has also been recognized by winning awards in few music plebiscites. One of them was the tenth, jubilee edition of the talent show called “Must be the music. Only music”. The group took second place and received a special award from Polsat television.

In 2015, as the first Polish band in history, Hope had the honor of performing as a support for Limp Bizkit during their concert in Krakow. In addition, the group had the opportunity to share the same stage with other famous artists, for example Body Count with Ice-T, Suicidal Tendencies, Jinjer, Hactivist, Hed (p.e.) and Skindred.

Current line-up:

  • Kroto – lead vocals
  • Adi – guitar
  • Łysy – guitar, vocals
  • Rojek – bass guitar
  • Gnievo – drums, samples
  • Orski – scratch, samples, beats
